I put up the website I’d been doing for my friend last night, and only had to make minor adjustments this morning. Of course, I’m disgustingly pleased with myself.
They all think I’m a genius too, mostly because I can write procedural code without causing smoke to come out the back of a machine. At least one of my readers knows better, but I hope he doesn’t tack on too much of a comment here. I cheated, I must confess, and bought a nice website template for a few bucks. If I hadn’t, I’d have revealed myself as a fake. Alas!
My secret is safe for now! Unless you all tell, of course.
It’s started to look a bit like autumn already. Cloudy day — hurricane leftovers — and the locust trees’ leaves are starting to turn.
Time for me to go into seasonal denial. Why does winter always last longer than summer?
