I nurse my feet with lots of band-aids and hot chocolate from the nearby Starbuck’s. I stretch out on my patio with the LA Times, which is mysteriously missing the section with the comics in it. The LAT can’t do this to me! 😯

Perhaps as soon as I leave a city in which it is easier to drive the two blocks to my lunch meeting than to walk it. ❗
