London

As soon as I get to London, so, very sadly, does Al Quaeda. The BBC have just added a seventh explosion to their summary report. Anywhere from two to twenty are reported dead. The army is in the streets just a few blocks away from our hotel. Tony Blair is live on television.

The various security personages that the BBC has managed to get hold of say that it is all but certain that Al Quaeda is at fault.

As Tony says, “Our commitment is greater than their determination.”

May it be so.
