Too quiet of a day

… To blog in. I like, at least, to have the illusion that something is happening.

So now I’m going to resort to Shakespeare, which for me is about as close as you can get to Torah without actually being Torah.

You wouldn’t think, what with Shakespeare being dead and all, that his works would change. Well, they haven’t, really, but this edition of The Works (linked to above) has revised titles and things to be more like what exist in the Folios, and not the traditional titles.

So, instead of Henry VI, Part II, we have The First Part of the Contention of the Two Famous Houses of York and Lancaster. And after typing all that out, I can see why it traditionally has a shorter title. I always get confused as to who was York and who was Lancaster, and who won, etc. Hey, I learned English history from these things! My attempts at scholarship have taken strange turns over the years, I suppose. But now, to the books…
