Dinner (of a sort) tonight at Cafe Beginah (Garden Cafe) with Mordechai, Jacob, and Avraham. We watched a tad bit of the “Bible Code” show, with Mordechai in prominent role, and a fair piece of the third episode of “Cosmos,” the one that tells about the life of Johannes Kepler. We were getting many and various ideas about where we want the TV show to go. Much fun it is to sit outside in an Israeli garden at night, watching American TV on a laptop computer.
A plate of fettucine, some bowls of soup on their part, a coupla beers, many hugs, and so ends my stay in Israel. Moshe the cab-driver shows up at 7 a.m. to take me to Ben-Gurion airport.
I’m gonna miss this trip.
