Chester the Vegetarian.

At least, that’s how he’s known in our house. Real name: Dennis Weaver. Therefore, “Chester” from his “Gunsmoke” days, followed by a surname describing his dietary preferences. I’m married to a man who’s been a vegetarian for 43 years, so Weaver’s definitely on the house list of heroes.

They’re rerunning the pilot for “McCloud.” I still love those old NBC Mystery Movies. Of course, I remember when they were on the first time. Age catches up with you on television. I would sulk about it, but then I’d miss the show.
